A high voltage line through your neighborhood
Greg Abbott and his hand-picked Public Utility Commissioners are approving 765 kV high voltage lines across Texas, routed through farms, ranches and neighborhoods.
The lines are being built to power datacenters and cryptomining operations, not the homes of regular Texans.
And you're expected to pay for them: estimates are that each household will pay about $200 more every year on its electric bill to cover the cost.
It's not too late to stop it
The people who appoint the PUC are on the ballot this November.
